2014-15

2014-15 Season Preview

Subscriptions for next season are now available. To order tickets call our office at (617) 349-0086 or download the order form and mail to Boston Chamber Music Society, 60 Gore St, Cambridge, MA 02141.

The 32nd Season celebrates chamber music with favorites from Bach, Mendelssohn and Schubert; a new commission from American composer Pierre Jalbert; and a program just for three of Brahm’s greatest works. Two afternoon concerts at Cambridge Rindge and Latin’s Fitzgerald Theater give us the opportunity to talk with the audience and make the music more accessible in an intimate setting. In January we feature our two beloved pianists in one-piano four hands versions of Afternoon of a Faun and Rhapsody in Blue. Then in February we bring you Mozart, Mostly featuring five of our core string players in music of Bach arranged by Mozart, Mozart arranged by Schnittke, and Mozart arranged only in his head. Be sure to watch the site for more details on the upcoming season and exciting events throughout the year.
