BCMS announces
its annual
chamber music workshop for mixed ensemble

The Workshop
welcomes
intermediate and advanced mixed chamber groups (trios, quartets, quintets
and sextets). Only pre-formed groups may apply. Participation is limited
to eight groups which will be accepted on a first-come, first-served
basis.
The coaches
include clarinetist Thomas
Hill, violinist Lucy
Chapman, violist Roger
Tapping, and pianist Randall
Hodgkinson.
The tuition
covers coaching, breakfast, lunch and refreshments and is based on the size of your group:
trio & quartet: $140 pp
or quintet & up: $125 pp
Location: The workshop will take place at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, on its main campus with outstanding music facilities.
Applications
must be received by March 16, 2012. Participants should include on the application the name of the work that has been selected for study. These may be complete works or individual movements (e.g., Mozart Piano Quartet in E-flat , K. 493; 1st and 2nd movements of Beethoven String Quartet in B-flat, Op. 130).
