Concert Venues

During the 2011-2012 season BCMS presents concerts in the following venues:

SANDERS THEATRE
Memorial Hall, Harvard University
45 Quincy Street, Cambridge [ Link to Sanders Theatre ] [ Directions ]

This sumptuous, red oak theater is steeped in history and tradition. Its superb acoustics and soaring ceiling give performances a majestic ambience. The Theatre is located at 45 Quincy Street, between Cambridge and Kirkland streets, a five-minute walk from Harvard Square. Free parking is available at the Broadway Garage, located at the corner of Felton Street and Broadway.

PICKMAN HALL
Longy School of Music
27 Garden Street, Cambridge [ Link to Longy School ] 

The air-conditioned Pickman Hall is located at the corner of Garden Street and Concord Avenue. It is a ten-minute walk from Harvard Square and we encourage you to use public transportation. You can take the Red Line to the Harvard T stop, and bus routes 72, 74, 77 and 78 pass near the school. Discounted parking is available at the University Place Garage near the Charles Hotel on University Road. (Please note this garage is separate from the Hotel garage.) On weekend it's a $8 flat rate for the day. Have your ticket validated by Longy's security guard.

KRESGE AUDITORIUM
Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Designed by the noted architect Eero Saarinen, the auditorium is defined by an elegant thin-shell structure, one-eighth of a sphere rising to a height of 50 feet. Every seat in the hall has an unobstructed view since there are no interior supports for the overarching dome. Based on availability, free or discounted parking ($5) can be found at MIT's West Garage on Vassar Street.
